WE have added a second rearranged special Community Day to our schedule this season.
On Saturday, March 30, young players from Twyford Spartans FC will be our special guests for the home Pitching In Southern League Southern Division match against high-flying Merthyr Town.
All Spartans players coming to the game at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium wearing an official club coat or tracksuit top will receive free admission to the match, as will an accompanying adult.
Twyford Spartans Day had originally been assigned for our game against Winchester City on Saturday, February 10, but that fell victim to the weather.
The Community Day is the second in successive weeks at Ladysmead, with the match against Hanwell Town the previous Saturday, March 23, having been designated Moors Youth FC Day. Just as with Twyford Spartans Day, any Moors player coming to that game suitably attired will not have to pay to attend.
The Community Days are part of the Yellows' commitment to being a club for the local community, immersed in the local community, and run by the local community.
The club is a massive supporter of youth football in their area, and believe that relationship benefits everyone, including the town and wider community.
