DARREN Holmes is Tiverton Town’s new Football Secretary.

He takes over in the important position at Ladysmead following Nikki Forsyth’s recent decision to step down from the role.

Darren, 53, is a familiar face to the Yellows’ faithful. As well as being a regular at matches and club events, the long-time Town supporter has contributed extensively to the club’s website and social media channels.

Darren, a Learning Support Assistant at Petroc College, Tiverton, said: “It is an honour and a privilege to be able to fulfill such a role at the club I support in the community that I live.

“So many fans have passion for this football club and I hope my holding the club’s

best interests at heart will serve me well as Football Secretary.

"I thank the Executive Committee for this opportunity and look forward to working with

Leigh Robinson, Ben Gerring and all behind the scenes at Tiverton Town.”
