TIVVY manager Rob Dray has turned to EFL Championship side Bristol City to help the Yellows out of a mini goalkeeping crisis this weekend.
The Robins have lent Town young gloveman Joe Duncan after regular No.1 Zak Baker picked up a minor injury, ruling him out of Saturday's Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South clash against Hanwell Town at Ladysmead.
Zak will soon be back to continue his loan from City's EFL Championship rivals Plymouth Argyle; in the meantime, Joe will fulfil the role of the Yellows' last line of defence.
Joe, 18, signed a two-year professional deal with Bristol City last season, hot on the heels of Tivvy's fellow City loanee Kai Churchley.
Bristol-born and raised in St Paul’s, he has been with the Robins since he was 11 after a spell at Cardiff City, and, last season, he was called up to the Jamaican Under-23 squad.
Many thanks to City, and especially the Robins' Player Pathway Manager Matt Hewlett, for smoothing Joe's temporary move to Ladysmead.
Welcome to Tiverton, Joe.
