Let's Talk About CHAT

WE very much look forward to welcoming our good friends from the Churches Housing Action Team to our home games against Walton & Hersham, this weekend, and AFC Totton, on Saturday, December 14.

It has become something of a modern tradition to support the great work that our charity partners CHAT perform in the local community by asking fans, players and management to bring along a donation for this thoroughly worthwhile cause.

CHAT, represented at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium on Saturday by Clive Williams, offer free support and advice on housing, debt and money and help with practical support from our foodbank. Their vision is for no-one in Mid-Devon to be homeless or hungry.

Therefore, we are asking supporters to consider getting something extra with your shopping and bring needed food or household items with them to our next two home matches to donate them.

Anything is welcome, but the following go down especially well:

Shampoo

Shower Gel

Deodorant

Toilet Rolls

Washing Up Liquid

Long-Life Milk

Squash

Sugar

Coffee/

Tea

Tinned Pies

Tinned Chilli

Tinned Curry

Tinned Carrots

Tinned Sausage & Beans

Tinned Meat

Tinned Soup

Tinned Custard

Tinned Rice Pudding

Tinned Fruit

Biscuits

Jam

Cereal

Like CHAT, we believe that everyone is entitled to decent, secure and affordable housing – somewhere to call home. In respect of our support of them, we will be wearing our away kit on Saturday as it has the CHAT logo on it.

Thank you.
