Tivvy’s pre season preparations continue as their 3rd game of the pre season campaign see’s newly relegated National League South side Yeovil Town come to Ladysmead this Friday in a 7:30 Kick Off.

Tivvy’s pre season campaign has unfortunately started with 2 losses for the Yellows as on Friday the annual friendly with Exeter City ended 1-0 to the grecians and on Tuesday night a mix of trialists and first team players travelled the short distance to Willand and narrowly lost 2-1.

With Tivvy set to turn their pre season around, the Glovers also have a point to prove this season also. Yeovil recently have been taken over by Businessman Martin Hellier who has helped guide the club into safety and built a foundation within the Somerset side.

As Yeovil prepare for life in the National League South, they also have a couple new additions from the division such as Jake Wannell from rivals Taunton Town and a familiar face to the Yellows in Lewis Williams also joins the Glovers.

But the real coups of the transfer window have to be the 3 forwards leading the line for the Glovers, a returning Rhys Murphy, Frank Nouble and Jake Hyde. 3 players who will bring years of experience to the squad and plenty of goals to boot

Tiverton will certainly be tested well by a Yeovil side who’s drop from the Championship to the National League South has been a decline which has led to a lot of speculation, but with Martin at the helm of the club things set to be on the up for the Somerset boys.

How to get to Ladysmead from Yeovil Town

By Public Transport: Board the train at Yeovil Pen Mill towards Castle Cary where you’ll need to change for a train towards Tiverton Parkway, from there you can catch the 373 which heads into Tiverton Town Centre and it’s a short walk there.

By Car: from Yeovil town centre, head down the A3088 to Cartgate where first exit on the roundabout you join the A303 towards Horton cross and 4th exit onto the A358 towards Taunton.

From there join the M5 down towards Junction 27 and head down the A361 and once at the Bolham roundabout take the first exit down Bolham Road and half a mile later, take a right and the clubs there.
