PLAYER NEWS ! We are delighted to announce that striker Matt Wright has agreed to rejoin the Yellows following his departure from Plymouth Parkway this summer. Matt scored 18 times for the Yellows during the infamous 2013/14 season under John Clarkson. Welcome back Matt!
Joint manager Scott Rogers reacts to the signing of our newest recruit, striker Matt Wright.
“We are delighted to get Wrighty, he’s been a thorn in our side for quite a few years. I spoke to Tom Gardner about him and he was full of praise for him. Tom said he was one of his toughest opponents to play against. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't easy at first to get him to sign because of his allegiances to Taunton but he’s got the opportunity to step back up the football ladder. Your football career is a short one and you have to make the most of it, which is what we told him. I’m sure he’ll be a massive player and character for us this season”.
