Moors the Merrier

PLAYERS from Moors Youth FC will be Yellows' special guests at our game against Hanwell Town next month.

The youngsters will be centrepiece of our special Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South match-day celebrating junior football in the community.

Any Moors player coming to the game on Saturday, March 23, wearing an official club coat or tracksuit top will receive free admission to the match, as will an accompanying adult.

Moors Youth FC Day had originally been assigned to attend our game against Gosport Borough on Saturday, February 24, but that fell victim to the weather.

Yellows’ Vice-Chairman Matthew Conridge said: “Tiverton Town are great supporters of youth football, and our relationship with clubs in our area benefits everyone, including the town and wider community.

“We look forward to welcoming Moors players and their families to the Ian Moorcroft Stadium on March 23.

“We are committed to being a club for the local community, immersed in the local community, and run by the local community.”

Moors Youth Football Club provides football for boys and girls between the ages of 5-16 years. It was formed in Tiverton in 1998 and has around 300 players signed-on.
