TIVVY'S Under-18s faced a stiff challenge at Braunton on Sunday, coming away with a 3-3 draw after holding a 3-1 lead at the hour mark.

Highlight of the game at Lobb Field was a bullet of a strike from Zak Moran, who notched his first hat-trick for the club.

The physicality of the game eventually took its toll with a number of injuries leading to forced changes, but the team was still competing in all areas.

However, Braunton Under-18s are a very experienced outfit who took their opportunities well, levelling the score with around 10 minutes to go.

Tivvy had a chance to take all three points but the metalwork prevented Charlie Syvret gaining another goal after coming on from the bench.

It was a gutsy performance by a young Tivvy team, who continue to play an exciting brand of technical/attacking football that was appreciated by both sets of supporters.

Jaq Sussex put on a confident display in goal, making his first full match appearance, and Kamil Wojtowicz produced another consistent and composed display at centre-back.

However, the plaudits went to Moran, who was just a class act in centre midfield, another exciting Tivvy prospect in the making.

Yellows: Jaq Sussex; Riley Davis, Will Findlay, Kamil Wojtowicz, Max Metherell, Sunny Webber, Zak Moran, Dan Harmer, Cody Stansfield, Ollie Rowland, Harrison Jordan, Elis Aldrich, Jack Trevelyan, Charlie Syvret, Dawson Payne.
