YELLOWS’ boss Rob Dray has nabbed striker bang in form with the acquisition of Dan Koita.
Dan, 23, has joined Tivvy from Okehampton Argyle, for who he knocked in a hat-trick in a midweek friendly game against Barnstaple.
The mid-Devon raised forward will now vie with Joe Parker and Nat Jarvis as Yellows seek the goals to fire them out of the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South relegation spots.
“They are all different types of forwards,” said Rob.
“Dan's a young, lively striker. He will give us some legs; he’s a good size; he wants to wants to kick on to the next level; and he’s keen to get involved. He's been on the radar for a little bit.

“There is a huge amount of load when you only got two proper forwards, so it takes a bit of the load off them and it gives us a chance to freshen things up.”
Rob also admitted that the current heaviness of the Ladysmead playing surface came into his reckoning when sizing up a move for Dan, and will probably influence future signings.
He said: “With the pitch how it is, we probably have to be a little bit selective in in the type of players that we're looking for. Players who can who can adapt, especially for the rest of the season.”
