TIVERTON Town manager Leigh Robinson has bolstered the Yellows' attacking options ahead of the rapidly approaching new season by signing prolific young forward Tor Swann.
Tor, 20, was announced as Tivvy's latest acquisition ahead of Saturday's pre-season friendly against Weston-super-Mare, supporters at Ladysmead being first to learn of the deal.
He was a youngster at both Exeter City and Torquay United before bouncing between Barnstaple Town and Buckland Athletic.
The Hertfordshire-born player was with the Grecians' Academy as a young teenager before spending two seasons at Torquay.
He joined Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South Barnstaple Town ahead of the 2021-22 season but, concerned about uncertainties at the North Devon club, moved to Toolstation Western League Buckland Athletic after just a few weeks.
He played regularly for Newton Abbot-based Athletic during the remainder of 2021-22 but returned to a more stable Barnstaple, under fresh management and ownership, at the start of 2022-23.
Last season, he was joint second-top scorer for Barum in the Toolstation Western League, with 17 goals.
Welcome to the IMS, Tor.
Tor Swann is available for sponsorship for the 2024-25 season. If you would like to sponsor him, or for further details, please email chairman@tivertontownfc.co.uk
