Way to Go, Joe

Writer: Simon EllisSimon Ellis

TIVERTON have extended the loan spell of Gloucester City forward Joe Parker until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has scored three goals in three Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South starts since arriving at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium at the end of January, including two on his debut, a 4-2 home win over Poole Town.

He also scored in the following match, a 2-1 defeat away to Winchester City, who Tivvy were hoping to seek revenge over at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium this week before the game was postponed because of a water-heavy pitch.

Home fans now have the enticing prospect of Joe linking up with fellow loanee Alex Fletcher as the Yellows look to fire themselves out of a relegation scrap.
