Mike Ebdon joins The Yellows!
Tiverton Town FC are delighted to announce the hiring of Mike Ebdon in the role of Head of Football at the club. Mike joins the board at a crucial time ahead of next season’s exciting changes as the club gears up to focus on becoming a real community asset.
With the amalgamation of Tiverton Town and Twyford Spartans, there will be plenty of football next season, Mike’s new role will oversee football across the club, excluding the first team, which will be left to the management of Asa Hall and Steven Orchard.
Speaking to club media, Mike Ebdon said ‘ ‘I’m genuinely excited about this opportunity. As soon as Matt approached me and shared his vision for the club, it resonated with me. There’s a real chance to provide a clear pathway for talented, local, young players to progress into senior football at a decent level and that’s something that really inspires me.’

Speaking about his previous experience in football, Mike went on to say, ‘I bring a solid background and good level of experience, working with both youth and senior teams across various levels. I’ve completed my UEFA B Coaching License, so I’ll be able to assist the coaching staff where I can too! There is huge potential here, and I’m looking forward to being a part of unlocking it!’
Matt Conridge, vice chairman of Tiverton Town also spoke to the club’s media team, ‘I’m delighted to welcome Mike on to the board of the club. His considerable experience in youth football and football in general will be invaluable to this club as we expand the number of sides within Tiverton Town Football Club.’
Welcome to Tiverton, Mike!
