We are delighted to announce our third new signing of the summer as we welcome forward Jacob Wellington to the club, who joins us from Willand Rovers.
Jacob, 18, from Paignton, can operate anywhere across the front line of the pitch, either as a striker or out wide on the flanks. He began his career in the youth set up at Torquay United and made his first team debut in April 2024, where he came off the bench and grabbed himself an assist in a 5-0 win. He joined Willand on loan last October and the move became a permanent one at the start of this year.

Player/manager Asa Hall had this to say about his latest acquisition "Steve and I had Jacob watched a few times towards the end of last season as we both felt he`s the type of player that could really help us going forward with his direct style. The fans are really going to enjoy watching him, once he gets up to speed with us and the new, higher division. I also remember watching him as a youngster whilst I was at Torquay and thought he had bags of potential back then too".
Jacob also added "Delighted to be here at Tivvy, as soon as I knew Asa and Steve were interested in me, there was only going to be one place I would be playing my football this coming season, I cant wait to get started, meet the fans and show everyone what I`m capable of".
Welcome aboard, Jacob 💛
