White Added to Yellows Palette

YELLOWS have signed young Bristol Rovers defender Charlie White on loan.

The 17-year-old joins fellow Pirate youngster Jerry Lawrence at Ladysmead following the recall of loanee Bailey Kempster by parent club Weston-super-Mare earlier in the week.

Charlie will make Saturday’s trip to Salisbury with his new team-mates for the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South game.

Yellows’ manager Leigh Robinson said: “We’re gutted to lose Bailey as he’s been superb for us, but obviously he’s not our player and we hope he does well on his return to Weston.

“He’s a lovely lad and welcome back anytime.

“We were fortunate to be able to move quickly to sign another left-sided player in Charlie from Bristol Rovers. Big thanks to Byron Anthony and Steve Tully at Bristol Rovers for sorting us out so quickly.

“We look forward to seeing Charlie in action during what is an important month.”
