Yellows get Wood

Tiverton Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of Matt Wood following his departure from Frome Town.

The fourth new arrival at Tiverton this summer, Matt joins The Yellows in the lead up to the 2025/26 season, speaking to the club Matt said, "I am delighted to sign for the club, having grown up in the area, I am aware of Tiverton’s rich history and I can’t wait to get started and be a part of what Asa & Steve are building".

Player/Manager Asa Hall spoke to the club about his new signing, "I’m really glad to have been able to get this one over the line, Matt will be a fine addition to the back line that we are building for next season. He’s someone that has experience at this level, having played against him last season, I know what he is capable of".

Wood marks the fourth new signing for Tiverton this summer as the club sets up the foundations of a huge rebuild on the pitch following the drama of the great escape last season.
