ZAK Baker is back at Tiverton.
The young goalkeeper is returning on loan from Plymouth Argyle until the last day of this calendar year.
Zak, 19, spent the majority of last season at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium after joining the Yellows in November.
From the moment that he kept a clean sheet on his debut, a 0-0 home draw with Harrow Borough, he endeared himself to team-mates and supporters alike.
He turned in 29 super steady and often eye-catching performances as Tivvy maintained their Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South status, crucial to which were three clean sheets in the final five matches that helped secure 12 vital points.
Earlier this season, Zak, a second-year professional at Home Park, was loaned to Tivvy’s Premier Division South rivals Plymouth Parkway.
However, he was recalled soon after joining when EFL Championship Argyle sold first-choice goalkeeper Michael Cooper to Sheffield United.
The Pilgrims have since signed Daniel Grimshaw from Blackpool and free agent Marko Maroši to supplement existing ’keeper Conor Hazard, the Northern Ireland international, who is currently injured.
