Tiverton Town FC are delighted to be able to confirm the appointment of David Steele, who joins as First Team Coach, following his recent departure from Taunton Town.
David, the son of former assistant manager & player Hedley Steele, made 275 first team appearances for the Yellows between 2001 and 2013, with a period away from the club, starting in the summer of 2006 which included time at Bideford and the first of two spells as a player at Willand Rovers, before returning to Tiverton at the start of the 2010/11 season.
His second playing spell at Willand culminated in his first taste of life in the dugout, once he`d called time on his illustrious playing career, were he successfully led them to promotion to the Southern League for the first time in the clubs history.

David, on his return to club said: "Obviously I`m delighted to be back to where it all began for me and I`m extremely grateful for the opportunity to join the coaching staff. Many of my fondest footballing memories have come from previous spells at the club, with hopefully many more to come. My primary focus will be to support Asa and Steve in every way I can, and hopefully that will create a positive knock‑on effect, helping us to pick up more points along the way".
Welcome aboard David.
