Joe 💛

TWO days before their first pre-season friendly, Tiverton Town completed a statement signing with the return of striker Joe Parker from Gloucester City.

Joe, 29, comes to Ladysmead on a permanent deal just a few weeks after his previous loan spell from the Tigers came to an end.

The former Newport County forward scored 11 times in 15 games at the end of a 2023-24 campaign that saw Yellows retain their Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South status. It is without argument that Joe's goals were a huge factor in that.

A product of Hartpury College, Joe immediately endeared himself to the Tivvy faithful with two goals on his debut - a 4-2 home victory over Poole Town in late January - and the relationship between pitch and terrace grew stronger as the season progressed.

Vital strikes followed at Swindon Supermarine and in home matches against Hanwell Town, Merthyr Town and Winchester City as Tivvy built up a healthy amount of points around Joe's goals.

Welcome back to the IMS, Joe.
