YELLOWS' assistant manager Ben Gerring believes the signing of Alex Fletcher adds further quality to the Tivvy attack.

Alex, 25, has joined Tiverton on an initial month's loan from Weston-super-Mare, where he has been playing under former Town assistant manager Scott Rogers.

He gives Gerring, Rogers' latest successor at Ladysmead, and manager Leigh Robinson another dimension to a Yellows' attack that boasts a host of exciting forwards like on loan Gloucester City striker Joe Parker; his former Tigers' team-mate winger Alefe Santos; ex-Bideford man Javan Wright; evergreen Niall Thompson; and the currently prolific Jack Rice.

In two previous spells at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium, former Plymouth Argyle professional Alex has scored 17 goals from 21 starts

Ben said: "Leigh and myself are really pleased to bring Alex back to Tiverton Town, where I’m sure he’ll be welcomed warmly by our supporters who will of course know him well from his previous spells here.

"He is very much a loved figure, on and off the pitch, by his peers, and will undoubtedly add quality to our already strong attacking options at the club.

"We thank Scott and Weston for allowing us the opportunity to look after Alex."
